His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error."
The Saheeh International Quran Translation
قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍHis [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error."
