They have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَThey have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
